Alphasonics Raise Money For Alzheimer’s

Alzheimer’s has the ability to affect anyone. More than 520,000 people in the UK currently suffer from the disease.

Fundraising is crucial to the work we do. Any money that gets raised helps people affected by dementia get the support they need today. Funds research helps find a cure for tomorrow. By volunteering with the Fundraising team you’ll be helping us to raise these valuable funds for those that need it.” – Alzheimer’s Society

With this particular cause being close to the hearts of the Alphasonics team, we decided to play our part in #CupcakeDay. The team of office and warehouse workers spent their evening baking a wide selection of cupcakes to sell. The flavours include lemon, chocolate, baileys, strawberry as well as a variety of buttercream icing.

The team held a Bake Off in which our Production Manager came third, our Accounts Manager came second and Joanne from our Logistics team won with her Salted Caramel cupcakes.

As of the 13th June, the Alphasonics team have collectively raised £290.50 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The team will also be taking part in the Liverpool Memory Walk. The walk will consist of spending a Sunday morning in September at Aintree race course, walking 6km.
